For Charity Only

I have not logged in to Multiply for a long time now. My last post was even during last Christmas. I did not post anything about New Year, or even vacations. However, I had this need to express my side about the matters going on in our section.

- do not worry, only us charitistas can see this post. -

Things are getting out of hand. Starting from last year, many have been making aliases to mess with Charitistas. Most, still not known who they really are. And now, we hope for a fresh start in the year 2009. However, things did not go as we expected. Many things have happened in the chatbox of the Charity blog. And now, one known as 'All Charitista #2' even had the guts to hack into Charity's friendster account, posting many undesirable things.

It's a good thing that the chatbox was removed from the blog, since obviously it was not used for the good. I don't really get why those kind of people need to mess with other people, making them angry.

Please, I hope that those kind of people will stop. Things aren't how they should be now. It's almost the end of the school year so why not cherish the last moments of your second year life and as a Charitista? My God. I can't believe that someone even studying in a prestigious Catholic school could do this. I'm sorry if you think this is exaggerated, but I'm just stating my opinion immediately after reading those things in the blog and even some on friendster, even though most was already erased.

This is the last quarter of our Charitista life. Please do not put it to waste.

I know that most of you will think that I'm just a fellow "quiet" classmate, however noticed that these things really affect all of us.

I really hope that all of these issues will be over soon. I look forward for our bond to strengthen as the schoolyear ends.

Happy Chinese New Year everyone.

First Trip for 2009

The day right after the traditional New Year pictorials and Bibiesca clan New Year gathering, We went on our way to Canyon Woods in Batangas [or Tagaytay, not sure where. ;))]

01.02.09
On our way to The Canyon Woods, we ate our lunch at LZM. It was recommended by our aunt and for me, the food was alright, not bad. Then, we went to The Canyon Woods. We didn't stay in the houses. We stayed in the hotel-type Lodge. Immediately after placing our bags in our rooms, Ate Maitz, Ate Van, Chacha, Mama, Gabby and I went to the pavillion to go fishing while Papa was out golfing. He was really excited about that. So we tried and failed. It was hard catching fish. You can feel the vibration of your rod as the fishes nibble on your bait. Raising your rod without a fish and without the bait was nearly frustrating. But still, I was the first one to catch a fish and it was big. So after celebrating that I successfully reeled in a fish, we suddenly came to our senses and constantly screaming over the jumpy fish. Yeah, it was already inside the bucket, but it still kept jumping because the hook was still stuck in it's mouth. We were totally clueless on how to remove the hook from the mouth of the fish. It was really funny. Chacha tried to remove the fish from the hook however upon touching it, she released the fish. We didn't know what to do with the hooked fish. Luckily, there were some kids next to us that kept on reeling in fishes and removing them without any problem. So my sisters requested for them to remove it for us, so we can learn. Okay, so now it was removed. Our fishing spot was not that good, so we decided to go to the spot in front of us. Ate Maitz became our official Fish Remover. The ratios were M4 - T3 - B2 - V2 Well, for me it's okay that I only caught 2 fishes because mine were big. One even jumped out of the bucket. (Yep, the first one too.) It kept on flipping so we decided to just push it back to the lake water. I was advised by Mama to use my rod as a golf club to push the fish back to the water. Seeing the fish gasping and searching for water became hard for me to kick it to the water. So I took her advise and gently pushed it back to the lake. It started drizzling and Mama and Gabby went back to the lodge. When we gave back our fishing rods, the rain stopped. So, we decided to check out the bowling alley if it is real bowling or just duck pin bowling. I was the first to go up since there were flights of stairs leading up to the bowling alley. *pant*. I peeked inside and saw that it was real bowling and there were three Billiards tables. We decided to play Billiards and during the 8-ball round, Ate Maitz and Chacha's team won. However on the 9-ball game, Ate Van and I won. After several bloopers, the attendant decided to just let us leave without paying. It's for free! haha. When we came back, they we played Uno Cards. After that, they played Pusoy since it was only for 4 people. They were even using authentic Pagcor cards! haha. I studied them and learned how to play. Then, we planned to have dinner in Carlo's Pizza, but seeing the lot there was full of cars and there was no spot for us to park our car. So we just ended up in Yellow Cab. When we went back to the Lodge, we showered and finally got a good night's sleep.

01.03.09
We woke up late so we decided to just have an early lunch. We found our way to Antonio's to eat. Papa saw one of his officemates and he recommended having the Roesti. So I decided to have that. I liked it. I also liked what the others ordered, and also the dessert. I was shocked to find out that that bathrooms there had two toilet seats and one or two big windows open revealing the person inside who seeks for privacy. Luckily, there was no one out side who will see you. We went for a long drive and after an hour or two, we went back to the Lodge. Ate Van, Chacha and I went to play bowling. We did not enjoy it, since our bowling balls kept on being stuck inside and the scoring machine was defective. We didn't have any more time to play since we were going to church so for the second time, our game was for free. Upon arriving at the chapel, there was a wedding which started late. We came there on time before the scheduled mass only to see that the wedding ceremony was only at it's Homily. So we decided to roam around Canyon Woods and went back to the chapel. After the mass, we went to eat dinner. I had a plate of sizzling seafood. I was really hungry and before they served my food I could smell the delectable and scrumptious smell of the food from the other table. (I'm not exaggerating on the description of the smell. I was really hungry that night for some reason.) Once I got my hands on my food, I chowed down quickly and I wasn't content. I've tried and tasted all of my family's food. After eating, I just began to realize that it's very saddening since there are going to be classes the day after tomorrow but anyway, when we got home, we played Pusoy, including me, serving as the substitute to whoever goes for a break to shower. Then by midnight, we went to sleep.

01.03.08
Awww...not much happened during the morning, since we only ate Oreo's, milk, coffee and some sandwiches for breakfast. For lunch, we ate at The Gourmet Resturant. I ordered a Spaghetti Marinara. (no choice. I wanted to try the Pasta Gorgonzola, however there was no Gorgonzola cheese left) I didn't like my food that much, but I liked what the others ordered.

That's all for Canyon Woods Jan. 2008. I'm looking forward to blog by April or June, about the Summer Vacation. Bye! :D

la la La Luz!

Yeah, I know...Exams start this week..but it's a vacation, right?

12.13.08
Went to Batangas, navigated our way to the La Luz resort, and...
"Is that the water I see?"
the answer is...yes. So, we went down to the beach, laid down our bags in the cabana while waiting for our assigned room. We had lunch, then we finally got our assigned rooms. We changed into our swimwear, got out of the room, applied sunblock in the cabana and went to the beach, which was very close to our room, by the way. Of course, it's December. I already thought that the water will be very cold so I carefully dipped myself into the sea water. It was very hard to swim at first, since the water was freezing and the sea breeze was utterly cold. We were surprised that Gabby was not scared of the cold water. We weer surprised that he actually enjoyed it. So, we went snorkeling by pairs, 'as one body' then we found schools of fishes. (even colleges :))) My mom did not snorkel, since she already went up the cabana because she was sinking in the sand. Then, after some time, my father went to the beach. We left Ate Maitz snorkel with him. Ate Van, Chacha, Mama, Gabby and I went to get some merienda and then after a short while, Ate Maitz and Papa joined us. They stayed in the cabana to be massaged, while my mom and I went to the room to also have our massage. After that, we went out to join the others in the cabana and we played Word Factory with them. (I won. hihi) It was only one game though, since my mom already wanted to go back to the room. Good thing I had my Uno Cards with me. We had dinner, then my sisters, together with Papa drank Tequila Rose. I, on the other hand, drank 2 cans of Sprite and Chocolate Milk. I acted as if I was drunk, though. We played Uno Cards and we had fun on making Chacha lose, being partners with Ate Van. That was fun. Then, Chacha and I went to the beach to look at the very very very circular moon. It was so beautiful.

12.14.08
Had breakfast, walked around the beach having pictorials. Then, we went back to shower, brush our teeth and pack our bags. I joined Papa and Gabby in walking around the beach for the last time, and we went up this high rocky formation, as if it was a mini-mountain. Then, we checked-out and ate at Kusina ni Salud. The food there wasn't as good as last time though. But thats maybe because on weekends, they serve a buffet menu. Our last lunch there was a weekday so, they serve that a la carte menu, which we liked. I would really miss the beachfront.

The Movie I Wanted To Watch Again Immediately After I Watched It

1 word. TWILIGHT
I never knew I'd be so excited to see it again. The night before, I wasn't that much excited. My sister, who already watched the movie during the premiere was more excited than me because she was gonna watch it again. So on "Twilight Day" there we were, in the cinema watching Twilight. Honestly, I expected the other people to somehow squeal when the Cullens entered the cafeteria but, they didn't. Anyway, it was just so cool. I'm not gonna include the story here, for those of you who have not watched it yet. Maybe some other time.I don't wanna give spoilers

My advice: Watch it.

I'm definitely gonna watch it again when we get the DVD copy. It's sooo entertaining. Especially Jasper who looks like a ------------ and Edward's expression when --------------

*ssshhhh!!!* sorry, can't help it!

anyway...
ciao!

Patience, a virtue

*sigh* The very short sembreak has now ended. To be honest, I'm somewhat depressed. Im back to the life of a student. A 'modern' student that is. Students before were always studying. But now, well....Me myself don't have study habits. I'm used to cramming. Well, back to projects, IPAs, GPAs...[stupid memorization], assignments, getting up early, sleeping early....argh! I can't enumerate everything that'll happen when I go back to school. There's just so many.

I guess I'll just have to wait for Christmas vacation, after the examinations, [grrr]. I prolly should just be patient. Well, I hope that my school life would be more exciting.

I just hate going up from bed early in the morning. Well, I'll be back to having that for an extra month or so. Well, goodbye Sembreak. Hello 2nd Semester, hope that you'd be a fresh and brand new start for me.

Freedom!.....?

Yes, the highly anticipated semestral break has now arrived. But there's one problem. 1st, it starts on Thursday, 2nd it ends on Tuesday...which means it's only for 3 days. 3 days!? ugh. it's barely a vacation. Well, anyway I would still have at least 5 days to regain my sleep. Actually, 4 days to be exact, as me and my family will be going to Dagupan on Saturday and I will be forced to break my slumber to get up, eat breakfast, take a shower and change clothes at 4 o'clock in the morning and sleep again in the car.

This vacation, compared to last year is utterly short, considering that last year, I still had time to waste my money for my air fare to go to Singapore and stay there for one week. It's somewhat disappointing. I mean, it consists only of 5 days, including the 2 days that are no-classes days always and the teachers still gave us loads of things to do!

Probably, if I just had the guts to complain, I would. 1st, they made us go to school for two consecutive saturdays for some unknown reason and 2nd, sem-break is too short!

Well, I think it's best to just let it pass. Christmas vacation is also near so...just wait for Christmas Vacation...right? I'll just spend my whole day in front of the TV, practicing my hand-eye coordination with video games, not wasting any second of this very short vacation.

I know many of you have noticed that I am always and consistently online on YM, but on vacations, I seldomly go online because as I stated earlier, I would rather play with my PS2.

For other people, who also want to complain about this matter, just let it pass. I really believe that next year they would make sem-break longer due to the comments by the parents in reply slips.

That's all! goodnight to all of you! {note: finished writing this blog at 11:41 pm :P}

Field Trip 08

weeee..field trip! so my seatmates inside the bus were darlene and lannae...but darlene transferred to the back of the bus so there's a wide space available..woohoo. so now we arrived at the shoe museum where we were asked to count the number or Imelda Marcos' total pair of shoes and the total pairs of shoes in general. There were 800 pairs of shoes in the museum and 758 of them belonged to Imelda. After that, we went to Jap's shoe factory. Nothing much there..the after that we went to Avilon Zoo. We found so many animals...we even saw a snake devouring a poor mouse. o.O. We left early, and we were brought to the playground by the facilitators (ENZO tours) There, some of us played seesaw, slide, monkey bars and the swing hehhe.. now that was fun.
